Clerkship Absence Make-Up Procedures
All absences from required activities must be made-up. The table below provides the available option(s) to make-up absences from each component of this clerkship. If the required make-up cannot be completed during the clerkship, a student may be required to 1) complete make-up experiences during elective time or 2) reschedule the clerkship to another time.
Please see the Phase 2 and 3 Attendance and Absence Policy for more information.

Short absences (Absences of 1-2 hours in duration): Students should first attempt to prioritize flextime for meetings and appointments. If an absence from a clerkship activity is required, students must request the absence via Phase 2 and 3 Absence Request form. Make-up for a single short absence is not required. Make up for multiple absences totaling 8 hours will be equivalent to one full absence day and make-up will be guided by the table above.
