Methods of Instruction

• Clinical Experiences:

  • Week 1: Tuesday - Friday

    • Inpatient service (consultative at MSM, MSW, Bronx VA, MSQ and Queens Hospital Center; at MSH may be consultative, MICU, or PCU)

  • Week 2: Monday - Thursday

    • Inpatient service (consultative at MSM, MSW, Bronx VA, MSQ and Queens Hospital Center; at MSH may be consultative, MICU, or PCU)

• Didactic and Small Group Sessions:

  • CAMP Sessions - NA

  • All-day orientation including didactics on palliative care, hospice, pain management

  • Serious illness communication workshop

  • Fellow-led chalk talks – four 10-minute talks

  • VALUES mapping with IDT

• Generative AI platform SimConverse
