# Methods of Instruction

Students are provided with weekly instruction throughout the span of the Surgery Anesthesiology Clerkship, which will teach principles of general surgery, anesthesiology and numerous surgical subspecialties.

**Instruction is provided through:**

* lectures
* case-based didactics
* simulation sessions
* web-based learning modules
* weekly quizzes

Each student is assigned an attending surgical and anesthesiology physician faculty mentor with whom they meet to present and discuss clinical cases.
