How are meetings with my CA structured?

You will be required to meet with your Career Advisor 1-2 times per year. These meetings will be during different transitional moments in your medical school journey and will focus on those transitions. Examples are acclimation to medical school, career exploration, and residency planning. Because you are in a professional school, these required meetings will be focused on career-related topics.

However, outside of these required meetings, we encourage students to schedule meetings with their career advisor as often as they need to discuss any concerns, advice or guidance they may need while in medical school. Your Career Advisor can be a support person along with referring you to resources that may be more aligned with what you need.
