NEXUS Learning Opportunities
Different NEXUS Opportunities are offered each semester and students are encouraged to take at least one during Phase 1.
NEXUS Learning Opportunities are
non-credit courses
after curriculum hours
created by students with faculty oversight
NEXUS Content can include:
medical knowledge
arts and humanities
clinical skills
learning new skills or language
Specialty specific
often involve volunteer housestaff and faculty and allow students an informal way to engage with specialties
