NEXUS Learning Opportunities

Different NEXUS Opportunities are offered each semester and students are encouraged to take at least one during Phase 1.

NEXUS Learning Opportunities are

  • non-credit courses

  • after curriculum hours

  • created by students with faculty oversight

NEXUS Content can include:

  • medical knowledge

  • arts and humanities

  • clinical skills

  • learning new skills or language

  • Specialty specific

    • often involve volunteer housestaff and faculty and allow students an informal way to engage with specialties
