Specialty Interest Groups

While you will start getting emails early on from Specialty Interest Groups, which are student run groups overseen by Student Council, there will be an opportunity for students to meet with group leaders and learn more about all Specialty Interest Groups at the Activities Fair held in September each year.

Specialty Interest Groups are a great, low stakes way for you to explore different specialties. Specialty Interest Groups often offer:

  • events and activities to meet faculty and housestaff

  • research opportunities

  • self-directed shadowing opportunities

  • Match Panels
