Your CV and the Residency Application

When completing your residency application, instead of uploading your CV, you will be adding the items on your CV into different sections of the residency application. Although this is the case, it's helpful to prepare a separate CV in advance that’s more visually appealing.

Also, most of the information you include on a CV will be required for your residency application, and having it all in one place on a CV will make writing your ERAS application, noteworthy characteristics and personal statement easier.

It’s important to work on your CV outside of ERAS because you’ll also provide a CV to faculty members who’ll write your letters of recommendation.
